Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the veradis Verify and Appraise services at verify.veradis.ai. By purchasing a report you agree to them.

1 · Who you're dealing with

The service is provided by Veradis Intelligence INC. (BC1492323, Canada), operating as “NNEAR AI INC.” on Stripe pending the BC name-change certificate. Contact: support@veradis.ai.

2 · What the service is

You submit a collectible object — a watch, medal, artwork, silver or other piece — with photographs and details. We check it against named sources (the maker's records, the movement maker, trademark filings, stolen-property registers and the veradis network) and return a Provenance Confidence Score (PCS): a verdict, a tier, a confidence interval, and every source named. Appraise adds an indicative fair-market value drawn from documented sales.

3 · The report is intelligence, not insurance

This Provenance Confidence Score is a probabilistic verification report based on digital data analysis cross-referenced against the veradis.ai knowledge graph. It is intelligence, not insurance. The PCS reflects the probability of identity match, custody continuity, material integrity, and risk-profile cleanliness based on available data at the time of query. It does not constitute a legal certificate of authentication, a guarantee against loss, or an indemnity against fraud. For high-value transactions, buyers should conduct physical inspection by a qualified specialist. veradis.ai is not liable for financial loss resulting from reliance on this report.

An indicative value in an Appraise report is not a certified appraisal.

4 · Delivery

Your report is generated and delivered once, in a single final version. There is no provisional stage and no separate confirmation step.

5 · Payment

Prices are set and charged in Canadian dollars (CAD). If your payment method is denominated in another currency, the payment processor converts the amount at checkout at its own rate. Payment is taken up front through Stripe; your card details never reach our servers. Applicable taxes, where charged, are shown at checkout.

6 · Refunds

Refund eligibility is set out in full in our Refund policy. In short: an Unscored result (insufficient data) or a Withheld result is refunded in full, automatically; a Flagged result is the answer you paid for and is delivered, not refunded.

7 · Right of withdrawal

Your report is generated on payment. By purchasing you request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once the report is generated. This does not affect the refund rights in section 6.

8 · Your responsibilities

9 · Intellectual property

Your report is licensed to you for your own use — you may show it to a buyer, seller, insurer or estate. The scoring methodology, the veradis network and the report format remain ours. You may not resell the service or present a report as your own certification.

10 · Your data

We use the details and photographs you submit only to produce and support your report, and to improve the network's accuracy. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy notice.

11 · Appeals

A Flagged finding carries a 14-day appeal window — write to appeals@veradis.ai.

12 · Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from a report is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for financial loss resulting from reliance on a report, consistent with section 3.

13 · Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and the courts there have jurisdiction, save where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

14 · Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here on the date of your purchase.
